Welcome to CAPITAL ST

CAPITAL ST is a solid choice for travelers seeking comfort and convenience in the heart of Mexico City’s vibrant Roma Norte neighborhood. Boasting a commendable 4.4 rating, this six-floor elevator building offers practical amenities like free Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, and free parking, catering especially well to extended stays.

Located on Medellín 184, guests find themselves steps away from Mercado Medellín and within walking distance of cultural highlights such as Palacio de Bellas Artes, Aztec temple ruins, and the bustling nightlife of Zona Rosa. The neighborhood feels safe and lively, presenting an authentic urban experience rich with murals, green spaces, and diverse dining options.

Rooms at CAPITAL ST are simply yet functionally furnished with a businesslike style that prioritizes comfort over flair. While some aspects—like aging mattresses and shower temperature delays—signal room for improvement, the space remains clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Soundproofing is modest; street noise and neighbor activity can be heard, but this is balanced by attentive staff known for their readiness to assist and accommodate late check-ins.

The absence of on-site air conditioning, a restaurant, and a pool may deter some, yet the inclusion of a pet-friendly policy and airport shuttle enriches the guest experience. Work travelers benefit from reliable internet suitable for tasks and communication, although streaming remains limited.

What truly stands out is CAPITAL ST’s value proposition in a dynamic district where culture and modern urban life converge. It feels like a home base with essential comforts, ideal for visitors who want to immerse themselves in the city without needless extravagance. For those who appreciate straightforward hospitality and the pulse of Mexico City’s Roma Norte, CAPITAL ST delivers a welcoming stay marked by practical charm and sincere service.

Stayed 11 nights here, daily housekeeping with full cleaning every third day more or less. On a noisy street (may want to ask for room facing back of building). It's time for this hotel to change their mattresses, However, overall it was a very good stay in a 6 floor elevator building with free laundry facilities. 5 minute walk to Mercado Medellin. Safe neighbourhood. You will need to speak Spanish or use Google Translate.

The rooms are really simply decorated in a business like style but are comfortable and have everything you could need. There seems to be some sort of kitchen area that you can use as well, although we didn’t try it. The hotel is great value and the area is excellent for bars/ restaurants/ green spaces. If you don’t mind your accommodation rather lacking in atmosphere then I’d highly recommend staying here.

5/5 4 hours ago on Google Great deal for Roma. Large rooms, very clean, great neighborhood and friendly staff. They even held my room for a late check in. However you hear all the happenings of the neighborhood at night. The shower takes some time to warm up and you can hear the neighbors using their sinks and flushing their toilets

Our go-to spot for extended stays. The staff is always ready to respond, the rooms are very clean, the Internet wifi is good enough to work (not great enough for streaming). It’s in a great location within 30 minutes walking distance of all our favorite spots.
